A Place in the Heart

His name is "Cowboy", hers is "Cowgirl"
Their from all kinds of places all over the world.

      Some of them  Rodeo,
      While others do not.
Some ride a tractor more than a horse

Some wear a ball cap, instead of a hat.
Some at times arn't even in boots
She'll be in heels, and he in,  who knows..
      frankly "sometimes"  anything goes

      "Can't judge a book by it's cover"
      That old saying you know,
the truth is you "can't" tell
      not by our clothes

They can at times be dressed to the hilt
Wranglers or Rockies, in their "Good" hats n boots.
      more times than not
they can be all covered in mud,
or manure, or sweat, or even some blood

Some work in town, and ranch in the night
      Times "can" be hard,
      and dwindle the light
but it's not  always dust, cold or  mud
      no sacrifice is to large
for what at times can seem
      to small a reward

They all work hard, some  play hard too
what they all have in common
      aside from a horse,
      They all have in common
It's a part of their Souls,
      They know without words
      They all can relate
What they all have in common
is that place in thier hearts!
