| This page, was inspired by my sister. Who after having been invited to view the site. Told me, she enjoyed it, "But", she felt like she did not "belong" here. Because she said, "she isn't" a Cowgirl, she doesn't live on a ranch, or own a horse".. I have since tried to find away to "word" the Cover page so that no one would feel uncomfortable here. Just as I have my opinions on what the "word" "Cowboy" means, I have my opinion on what the common term "Wanna be" means. And I know to, that "my" idea's may not be in agreement with some. I am not saying any of this is "What is".. I am saying this is "my" idea. And, I will admit when I am wrong, so I am subject to and open to change. But not on just a "say so".. or because it's fashionable. So to continue on with the way I lead my life, I am not one to keep my mouth shut. Try as I may at times. That is something I seem to be "very" unsuccessful at. I think there is a difference between, someone who masquerades an image, "any" image for the wrong purpose. And a person with a dream. A person, who was not born to a life they may dream of, that has a spirit inside of them, that they would be, if they could be .. What ever that may be. And in the case of "Cowboy".. They may go to Rodeo, they may though unable to ride, may appreciate the beauty of a horse, they may be able to stand in or near a barn, and not be put off by it. They may want to "learn". They in essence support the "Cowboy" life. They eat the beef, they pay admissions to Rodeo's. They applaud the success's, they share the pain of defeats. They may Want to be "living" the life. We all can want for something That doesn't make any of us "Wanna Be's" That makes us "Alive" Thats what "Dreams" are made of. So lend a helping hand, when you can, a smile from your heart, not a scone or a laugh. That is what the word "Cowboy" "is" about.. |
