Confirmation!
2009
Due to the Number of unwanted horses
In the Country. And even though Royal has sired outstanding offspring. We are no longer
breeding Royal to Mares at this time.
It has taken many years but Royal has given us the final link to our breeding program
goals.
All of royals foals were a success towards our goals, confirmation, athletic ability, mind,
temperament, grace and more. Select fillies with all of the above traits in addition to
specific color were held back to continue in our program. Those fillies were then bred to
our Black and White Stallion. Who for the past few years have given us our ultimate goal.
Both mares bred twice to the BnW. Our first mare Exception, has given us gorgeous
grullo foals both times. Our second mare "Diana'. Her first colt BnW, and this years filly
a grulla.
To Date Royal has only been bred to Solid mares Foals

The best way to judge a Stallion, is by his foals.

Added Note:
Royals body color has been researched for quiet some time by
some of the top color experts in the country. The question, Dun?
Grullo? Or Dunskin? At first "Buckskin" was considered as well.
I guess the dorsal stripe was not showing up well through the photo's.
In the photo's he appears lighter then he actually is. Last determination was based on his being
seen in person, and the colors of the horses through out his pedigree and the color of the foals
he has produced along with considering the color of the dam and the colors in her pedigree.
That determination was that he is Lobo Grullo.
Royal came to us as registered as Dun, that has not been or will not change, until / or if, in fact
a change needs to be made. This research began when his registered color came into question.
Royal has sired 3 grullo colts, 2 dun, 2 black and 2 red dun foals.
All mares were sorrel, or smoky black. Input is welcome!
